Eagle Plains Completes Airborne Geophysical Surveys on Kootenay-Area Mineral Projects

(EPL:TSX-V) has recently completed airborne geophysical surveys on six separate mineral projects located in the East Kootenay region of south-eastern British Columbia. The survey was conducted by Geotech Geophysical Ltd., and consisted of airborne magnetometer and time-domain electromagnetic (EM) instrumentation.

(SGX:TSX-V) have executed a formal option agreement under which SGX can earn a 60% interest in the Copper Canyon project from EPL by completing C$3 million in exploration expenditures, issuing 400,000 shares of SpectrumGold over the next 3 years and making property payments totaling C$250,000.

(EPL:TSX-V) announces that it has executed a Letter of Intent with Kobex Resources Ltd.(KBX:TSX-V) whereby Kobex may earn a 60% interest from EPL in the Titan molybdenum project located 50km west of Atlin in northwest British Columbia. The property is controlled 100% by EPL (subject to a 1.5% NSR), and consists of 29 claim units covering approximately 1,700 acres.

Cranbrook, B.C.: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) announces that it has executed a Letter of Intent with Shoshone Silver Ltd. (SHSH:OTC) whereby Shoshone may earn a 60% interest from EPL in the Blende silver/base-metal deposit located in the Wernecke Mountains, approximately 65 NE of Keno in central Yukon Territory. The property is owned 100% by EPL (subject to a 1% NSR), and consists of 16 quartz claims covering approximately 800 acres.

(TSX-V:EPL) announces the completion of a 3073 meter (10,080 feet) diamond drill program by SpectrumGold Inc., (TSE:SGX) and the initiation of a 70:30 SGX:EPL Joint Venture on the McQuesten Property in the Keno Hill Mining District, 40 kilometres northeast of Mayo, Yukon. The property consists of 51 quartz mining claims (2,500 acres) that are accessed by the all-weather Yukon Silver Trail highway with an adjacent hydro-electric transmission line.
