Eagle Plains/Waterloo Complete 2009 Fieldwork on Ice River Rare-Earth-Element (REE) Project, Southeastern B.C.

Cranbrook, BC; 17 November, 2009: Eagle Plains Resources (TSX-V:EPL) and Waterloo Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:WAT) have completed a $225,000 exploration program on the Ice River property located 30km SE of Golden, British Columbia. The property is host to precious metals and rare earth element (“REE”) mineralization in syenite and carbonatite dyke systems that are numerous and widespread over a 4+ kilometer-long corridor within the Ice River Intrusive Complex.

Taku River Tlingit First Nation, Eagle Plains and Prize Mining Sign Impact & Benefit Agreement for Yellowjacket Gold Project

Atlin, B.C., November 9th, 2009: The Taku River Tlingit First Nation (“TRTFN”), Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:EPL) and Prize Mining Ltd. (TSX-V:PRZ) jointly announce that the parties have completed and executed a formal Impact and Benefit Agreement (“IBA”) relating to mineral exploration and gold production activities at the Yellowjacket Gold Project (“Yellowjacket Project”) located near Atlin, British Columbia.

Eagle Plains/Touchdown Capital Complete Geophysical Survey, Commence Drill Program at Sphinx Moly Project, Southeastern BC

Cranbrook, BC; 06 November, 2009: Eagle Plains Resources (TSX-V:EPL) and Touchdown Capital Corp (TSX-V:TDW) have completed Phase 1 exploration activity and commenced a 500m Phase 2 diamond drilling program on the Sphinx molybdenum project located approximately 60 km west of Kimberley in the Nelson and Fort Steele Mining Divisions of British Columbia. 

The $220,000 program is funded by Touchdown, who have acquired Eagle Plain’s 100% interest in the 15,400 hectare property. 

Eagle Plains/Windstorm Complete Fieldwork on Kalum Gold Property, New High-Grade Prospecting Discovery Announced

Cranbrook, B.C.; 04 November, 2009: Eagle Plains Resources (TSX-V:EPL) has completed a $100,000 mineral exploration program on the Kalum property. The road-accessible, 21,883 ha property is located approximately 35 km northwest of Terrace, British Columbia in the Skeena Mining Division. Eagle Plains has agreed to grant an option on the property to Windstorm Resources Ltd, a private B.C. company which funded the 2009 program.

Eagle Plains/ Prize Mining Pour Gold at Yellowjacket Project, Atlin, BC

Cranbrook, B.C., October 7th, 2009: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd (TSX-V:EPL) and Prize Mining Ltd. (TSX-V:PRZ) have completed mining and milling activity for the 2009 season and have commenced seasonal clean-up and maintenance. The first gold bar was recently poured from concentrate materials milled on-site and weighs 2.284 kg. The project is operated through the Yellowjacket Joint-Venture (“YJV”), jointly owned by Eagle Plains and Prize Mining and operated by Eagle Plains. 

Eagle Plains Commences Fieldwork on Eagle Lake Uranium Project

Cranbrook, B.C., September 16th, 2009: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:EPL) has mobilized field crews to commence work on EPL’s 100% owned Eagle Lake uranium project located 28 km southeast of Cameco's Key Lake uranium deposit in north-central Saskatchewan, Canada. The focus of the $100,000 exploration program will be to further delineate uranium occurrences discovered during 2007/2008 field programs. Work will be funded by a third party. 

Yellowjacket Mine Achieves Full Commercial Production, New Gold Zone Discovered

Eagle Plains Closes $1,881,500 Financing

Cranbrook, B.C., 18 August, 2009: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:EPL) has closed a brokered and non-brokered public offering as originally announced on July 21st, 2009 with a further announcement notifying of an increase issued on August 13th, 2009. The financing was offered to arms-length and non-arms length investors and was comprised of 8,107,500 non flow-through units and 1,040,000 flow-through units for gross proceeds of CDN $1,881,500.
