Eagle Plains/Blind Creek Complete Drilling Program at Blende Silver/Base-Metal Deposit, Yukon Territory

Cranbrook, B.C. 02 September, 2008: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) and option partner Blind Creek Resources Ltd. (a private B.C. company) jointly announce that they have successfully completed a 7-hole, 1047m (3400’) diamond drilling program on the Blende property, located in central Yukon approximately 65km NE of Keno.

Cranbrook, B.C. 31 July, 2008: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) and option partner Blind Creek Resources Ltd. (a private B.C. company) jointly announce that they have mobilized crews and equipment to commence a diamond drilling program on the Blende property, located in central Yukon approximately 65km NE of Keno. A total of 1,200m of drilling is planned for the project during 2008. The budget for the 2008 program has been set at $700,000 and includes metallurgical testing of mineralized material.

Eagle Plains Resources Commences Summer Field Programs

Cranbrook, B.C., June 19th, 2008: Eagle Plains Resources (TSX-V:EPL) has mobilized crews to commence work in both British Columbia and NWT on projects in various stages of development. $6M in exploration expenditures are planned for the year, with 14 individual projects scheduled for work. 6 projects are expected to see diamond drilling this year, with approximately 5500m (18,000’) in total footage planned to date. Approximately ½ of the total expenditures will be incurred by third parties under various option agreements currently in place.

Eagle Plains Resources Announces Termination of Agreement with Wellstar Energy

Cranbrook, B.C., May 23th, 2008: Eagle Plains Resources (TSX-V:EPL) announces that Wellstar Energy Corporation (WST:TSX.V) has defaulted on the performance requirements of the option agreement between Wellstar and Eagle Plains on the Kulyk and Jenny Lake uranium project in north central Saskatchewan. Eagle Plains has formally notified Wellstar that the option agreement on the 100% Eagle Plains owned property is terminated and that Eagle Plains will be seeking full payment of the outstanding monies owed to its subsidiary Bootleg Exploration Ltd. 

Eagle Plains / Blue Sky to Drill Saskatchewan Uranium Projects

Cranbrook, B.C., February 27th, 2008: Eagle Plains Resources (TSX-V:EPL) and Blue Sky Uranium Corp. (BSK-TSX.V) are pleased to announce that crews have  been mobilized to the Karin Lake uranium property in the Athabasca Region of Saskatchewan, Canada. The 1,500 metre diamond drill program will test the Craig Bay mineral showing, along portions of a strong EM-conductor identified during the 2006 GEOTEM airborne survey.  

Eagle Plains Resources Announces Discovery of Rare Earth Elements (“REE’s”) and Niobium Mineralization at Ice River

Cranbrook, B.C., February 20th, 2008: Eagle Plains Resources (TSX-V:EPL) has recently received whole rock analyses from Eagle Plains 100% owned Ice River Property. Encouraging values were returned, including up to 3.0% REOs (total Rare Earth Oxides), and 5600 g/t Nb2O3 (Niobium / “Columbium” oxide).  One 2.5 meter chip sample (JBIVR048) returned 2.4% REOs.

Cranbrook, B.C. 15 February, 2008: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) and Blind Creek Resources Ltd. (a private B.C. company) jointly announce that they have completed fieldwork and received final assay results from a 15-hole, 11,191 ft (3,411 m) diamond drilling program on the Blende property, located in central Yukon approximately 65km NE  of Keno Hill.

Eagle Plains/Sandstorm Execute Option Agreement on Elsiar Project, West-Central B.C.

Cranbrook, B.C., 23 January, 2008: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:EPL) and Sandstorm Resources Ltd (TSX-V:SSL.P) have executed a formal agreement whereby Sandstorm may earn a 60% option in the Elsiar copper-moly-gold property by making exploration expenditures of $3,000,000 and completing payments of 700,000 shares and $500,000 cash by the fifth anniversary. A 1% NSR is reserved for Eagle Plains. Sandstone may increase its interest in the property to 75% by delivering a bankable feasibility study by 2015.
