Cranbrook, BC; 27 September, 2005: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:EPL) announces that it intends to complete a non-brokered private placement to a single arms-length investor. Application will be filed with the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX-V) to sell 250,000 flow-through common shares at a price of $1.00 CDN per share for aggregate proceeds of $250,000 CDN. No commission or finders fee will be paid.
Funds generated by the financing will be used to advance exploration activities on the Company’s British Columbia properties.

Cranbrook B.C., 20 September, 2005: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:EPL) has been notified by partner NovaGold Resources Inc. (AMEX, TSX: NG), that drilling activity has commenced on Eagle Plains’ Copper Canyon gold-silver-copper project located in northwestern British Columbia. Exploration at Copper Canyon is being conducted concurrently with work on the contiguous Galore Creek project, controlled 100% by NovaGold.
Cranbrook, B.C. 29 August, 2005: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) and Blind Creek Resources Ltd. (a private B.C. company) jointly announce that they have completed a ground-based gravity survey at the Blende property, located in central Yukon approximately 65 NE of Keno. This work follows an extensive re-examination, sampling and interpretation of existing drill-core stored on the property since the early 1990s. Aurora Geosciences of Whitehorse recently completed the geophysical survey, while Robert Sharp, P.Geol.
Cranbrook, B.C. 09 August, 2005: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) announces that it has executed an option agreement with Blind Creek Resources Ltd. (a private B.C. company) whereby Blind Creek may earn a 60% interest from EPL in the Blende silver-lead-zinc-copper deposit located in the Wernecke Mountains, approximately 65 NE of Keno in central Yukon Territory. The property is owned 100% by EPL (subject to a 1% NSR), and consists of 73 quartz claims covering approximately 3700 acres. The property has remained dormant since 1994
Cranbrook, B.C., 05 August, 2005: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSXV) has mobilized crews to commence diamond drilling on the Kalum project located 30km northwest of Terrace, near the central coast of British Columbia. The claims cover an area of approximately 10 km x 12 km, and are 100% owned by Eagle Plains. A 1000m, 4hole program is planned for the property, with targets based on encouraging results obtained during 2003 and 2004 fieldwork (see Nov. 8, 2004 and Dec. 9, 2004 news releases).
Cranbrook, B.C. 19 July, 2005: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL: TSXV) has completed Phase 1 drilling activity on it’s 100% controlled Sphinx property, located 60 km west of Kimberley, BC. The claims consist of a total area of 2500 ha, with 1600 ha acquired by staking by EPL and 900 ha subject to an option to earn 100% interest (less 1% NSR) from armslength individuals. A total of 14 holes were completed for a total of 10,921’ (3,330m).
Cranbrook, B.C., 12 July, 2005: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSXV: EPL) and Northern Continental Resources Ltd. (TSXV: NCR) have commenced diamond drilling activity on the Elsiar (LCR) project, located 40 km northwest of Terrace, B.C., and 2km north of EPL’s Kalum project. The 5650 ha property is controlled 100% by Eagle Plains (subject to a 1% NSR), and is under option to Northern Continental, who may earn a 60% interest in the property (see NR Jan 15, 2004).
Cranbrook, B.C., 05 July, 2005: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSXV: EPL) is pleased to announce the start of field work on a project to evaluate ZnPb deposits and showings within a belt of carbonate rocks in the Mackenzie Mountains southwest of Norman Wells N.W.T. The company currently holds eight prospecting permits and two claim blocks covering many of the 85 known significant ZnPb occurrences in the area, including those at Gayna River and the Twitya River.
Cranbrook, B.C., 13 June, 2005: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) has completed a four-hole, 945m (3,100’) diamond drilling program on its 100% owned Iron Range Project located in the Goat River area 15km NE of Creston, B.C. Drilling activity is a continuation of work commenced late in 2004 that was interrupted by winter weather conditions (see NR November 16, 2004). The current program tested Sullivan-type base metal targets on the flanks of the Iron Range Fault System.
