Eagle Plains Forms Strategic Alliance to Explore for NWT Metals

Cranbrook, B.C. 15 June, 2007: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (“Eagle Plains”) (EPL:TSX-V) and Teck Cominco Limited (“Teck Cominco”) (TCK.B:TSX) have agreed to form a Strategic Alliance to explore for base-metals (zinc, lead, copper, silver) in the Mackenzie Mountain area of western NWT.  Eagle Plains has been active in the region for over five years, and controls permits and claims covering an area of over 5,400 square km.

Eagle Plains/Wellstar Energy Commence Fieldwork on Saskatchewan Uranium Project

Cranbrook, B.C., 12 June, 2007: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) and Wellstar Energy Corporation (WST:TSX-V) announce that crews have now mobilized to the Kulyk Lake project area, and will begin systematically mapping and sampling all known occurrences. Prospecting and reconnaissance mapping will also be completed in an attempt to locate new mineralization. An airborne geophysical survey is also scheduled for the property, to commence immediately on availability of aircraft.

Eagle Plains Exploration Program Underway in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Region

Eagle Plains Resources (TSX-V: EPL) is pleased to announce that a six man crew has begun a surface prospecting program with its joint venture partner Blue Sky Uranium Corp. (TSX-V: BSK, WKN: AOMKXP) on the Eagle Lake and Karin Lake uranium projects, located in the Athabasca region of Saskatchewan.  The work program will follow up on historic showings identified in the exploration programs conducted in the 1970’s which identified surface samples as high as 8% U308 (AR 74A14-0023).

Eagle Plains/Blind Creek Commence Drilling Program at Blende Silver/Base-Metal Deposit, Yukon Territory

Cranbrook, B.C. 07 June, 2007: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) and option partner Blind Creek Resources Ltd. (a private B.C. company) jointly announce that they have mobilized crews and equipment to commence a diamond drilling program on the Blende property, located in central Yukon approximately 65km NE of Keno. A total of 2,500m of drilling is planned for the project during 2007. The budget for the Phase 1 program has been set at $1,000,000. 

CGC Inc to Commence Drilling on Eagle Plains’ Coyote Creek Property

Cranbrook, B.C., 28 May, 2007: Crews and equipment have been mobilized to the Coyote Creek gypsum project located in the Coyote Creek/Lussier River area 50km NE of Cranbrook, BC.  As announced October 19th, 2006, CGC Inc. has agreed to purchase a 100% interest in the property, and is in the process of completing their due diligence work. The transaction is expected to close on October 2nd, 2007.

Eagle Plains Commences 2007 Drilling Program on Sphinx Molybdenum Project

Cranbrook, B.C., 24 April, 2007: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) has commenced work related to a 2500m Phase 1 diamond drilling program on it’s 100% controlled Sphinx property, located 60 km west of Kimberley, B.C..  Drilling was last completed on the property in late fall, 2006 (see EPL NR February 7th, 2007).

Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. Announces its Guidance Regarding Computation of the Shareholders' Adjusted Share Cost Base for Copper Canyon New Shares Issued in Connection with its Plan of Arrangement

Cranbrook, B.C., February 19th, 2007: Eagle Plains Resources (TSX-V:EPL) is pleased to provide guidance regarding the computation of shareholders' adjusted cost base for Canadian tax purposes in connection with its Plan of Arrangement (the "Arrangement") which became effective June 9, 2006. Under the Arrangement, each Eagle Plain shareholder of record on June 1, 2006 (the share distribution record date) received one common share in Copper Canyon Resources Ltd. for each common share of Eagle Plains held by such shareholder.

Eagle Plains/Blue Sky Execute Letter of Intent on Karin Lake Uranium Project

Cranbrook, B.C., February 15th, 2007: Eagle Plains Resources (TSX-V:EPL) and Blue Sky Uranium Corp. (TSX-V:BSK, WKN:AOMKXP) have executed a Letter of Intent whereby Eagle Plains has agreed to grant Blue Sky the option to earn a 60% interest in the 35,000 ha Karin Lake property located 35 km east of Cameco’s Key Lake mining operation in north-central Saskatchewan, Canada.
