Eagle Plains Completes 2005 Exploration Work on Kalum Gold Project; West-Central BC

Cranbrook, B.C., 18 January, 2006: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) has completed exploration work and compiled analytical data on the Kalum project located 30km northwest of Terrace, near the central coast of British Columbia.  The claims cover an area of approximately 10 km x 12 km, and are 100% owned by Eagle Plains. A total of $330,000 was spent on the property during the 2005 season, with 147 rock samples,  381 soil samples, 82 silt samples, and 1771.2’ (540.0m) of diamond drilling completed.

Eagle Plains/Northern Continental Complete 2005 Exploration Work on Elsiar (LCR) Project, West-Central B.C.

Cranbrook, B.C., 10 January, 2006: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:EPL) and Northern Continental Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:NCR) have completed diamond drilling activity on the Elsiar (LCR) project, located  40 km north-west of Terrace, B.C., and 2km north of EPL’s Kalum project. A total of 7,888’ (2,405m) of drilling was completed in 20 holes at a cost of $850,000.

Eagle Plains Appoints David Johnston, P.ENG, Director; and Grants Options to Employees & Directors

Cranbrook, B.C.: December 21, 2005. Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) is pleased to announce the appointment of David L. Johnston, BASc(Mining), MASc(Mining Engineering), to the Board of Directors. Mr. Johnston is a professional engineer who has held senior management positions at Cominco Ltd. and Cominco subsidiaries for over thirty five years.

From 1995 to 1999 David was president and general manager of Highland Valley Copper Corporation, North America's third largest open pit copper mine.

Eagle Plains Closes $1.3M Financing

Cranbrook, B.C., 19 December, 2005: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) has closed a non-brokered public offering as announced on November 10, 2005 and amended November 17th, 2005. The financing was comprised of 1,276,427 non flow-through units for gross proceeds of CDN$893,499 and 417,237 flow-through shares for gross proceeds of CDN$417,237. A total of 1,693,664 shares and 1,276,427 warrants were issued, for total proceeds of the financing of CDN$1,310,736.

Eagle Plains/Northern Continental Commence Drill Program on Abo Gold Project, South-Western B.C.

Cranbrook, B.C., 08 December, 2005: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) and option partner Northern Continental Resources (NCR:TSX-V) have initiated a 600m (2,000’) $100,000 diamond drilling program on the Abo Gold Project, located 5 km north of Harrison Hot Springs, approximately 100 km east of Vancouver, British Columbia. The current program is designed to follow-up on a new zone of high grade mineralization discovered during drilling activity conducted in April of this year.

Eagle Plains Receives Yukon Environmental Award

Cranbrook, BC, November 24th, 2005: Eagle Plains Resources (TSX-V:EPL) has recently been awarded the Robert E. Leckie Award for Outstanding Exploration Reclamation Practices. Yukon Energy, Mines and Resources Minister Archie Lang presented the award on behalf of the Yukon Territorial Government at an award ceremony held in Whitehorse on November 21st. Tim Termuende, President and CEO of Eagle Plains accepted the award on behalf of the company.

Eagle Plains Announces Financing

Cranbrook, BC; 10 November, 2005: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:EPL) announces that it intends to complete a non-brokered private placement to arms-length and non arms-length investors. Application will be filed with the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX-V) to sell up to 300,000 flow-through common shares ("Flow-through Shares") at a price of $1.00 CDN per share and up to 700,000 non-flow-through units ("Units") at a price of $0.70 CDN per Unit.

Eagle Plains Releases Final Results From Phase-One Drilling Program on Sphinx Molybdenum Project

Cranbrook, B.C. 25 October, 2005: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL: TSX-V) has completed Phase 1 drilling activity on it’s 100% controlled Sphinx property, located 60 km west of Kimberley, BC. The claims consist of a total area of 2500 ha, with 1600 ha acquired by staking by EPL and 900 ha subject to an option to earn 100% interest (less 1% NSR) from arms-length individuals. A total of 14 holes were completed for a total of 10,921’ (3,330m).
