Eagle Plains/ Prize Mining Pour Gold at Yellowjacket Project, Atlin, BC

Cranbrook, B.C., October 7th, 2009: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd (TSX-V:EPL) and Prize Mining Ltd. (TSX-V:PRZ) have completed mining and milling activity for the 2009 season and have commenced seasonal clean-up and maintenance. The first gold bar was recently poured from concentrate materials milled on-site and weighs 2.284 kg. The project is operated through the Yellowjacket Joint-Venture (“YJV”), jointly owned by Eagle Plains and Prize Mining and operated by Eagle Plains. 

Eagle Plains Commences Fieldwork on Eagle Lake Uranium Project

Cranbrook, B.C., September 16th, 2009: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:EPL) has mobilized field crews to commence work on EPL’s 100% owned Eagle Lake uranium project located 28 km southeast of Cameco's Key Lake uranium deposit in north-central Saskatchewan, Canada. The focus of the $100,000 exploration program will be to further delineate uranium occurrences discovered during 2007/2008 field programs. Work will be funded by a third party. 

Yellowjacket Mine Achieves Full Commercial Production, New Gold Zone Discovered

Cranbrook, B.C., 27 August 2009: Yellowjacket Joint Venture (“Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) and Prize Mining Corp. (PRZ:TSX-V)”) jointly announce completion of final commissioning and permit compliance requirements to allow for commencement of full production at their Yellowjacket Gold Mine, located in northwestern British Columbia.

Eagle Plains/Waterloo Commence Fieldwork at Ice River Rare Earth (REE) Project

Cranbrook, B.C., 19 August, 2009: Eagle Plains Resources (TSX-V:EPL) and Waterloo Resources Ltd (TSX-V:WAT.P) have commenced fieldwork on the Ice River property, located 30km SE of Golden, British Columbia. The property is host to precious metals and rare earth element (“REE”) mineralization in syenite and carbonatite dyke systems that are numerous and widespread over a 4+ kilometer-long corridor within the Ice River Intrusive Complex.

Eagle Plains Closes $1,881,500 Financing

Cranbrook, B.C., 18 August, 2009: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:EPL) has closed a brokered and non-brokered public offering as originally announced on July 21st, 2009 with a further announcement notifying of an increase issued on August 13th, 2009. The financing was offered to arms-length and non-arms length investors and was comprised of 8,107,500 non flow-through units and 1,040,000 flow-through units for gross proceeds of CDN $1,881,500. 

Eagle Plains Announces Financing

Cranbrook, BC; 21 July, 2009: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:EPL) announces that the Company intends to complete a non-brokered private placement to arms-length and non arms-length investors. Application will be filed with the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX-V) to sell up to 7,000,000 non-flow-through units at a price of $.20 CDN per unit, each unit consisting of a non-flow-through common share and one-half non-flow-through common share purchase warrant, each whole warrant exercisable at $.30 CDN for a 24 month period.

(PRZ:TSX-V) jointly announce that the British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources ("BC-MEMPR") has awarded the Yellowjacket Venture (“Yellowjacket JV”) a Small Mines Act Permit for development and production at the Yellowjacket Gold Project in northwestern British Columbia.

Eagle Plains/Prize Mining Complete Ramp-Up to Commercial Production at Yellowjacket Gold Project, Atlin, B.C.

Cranbrook, B.C., 29 June, 2009: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) and Prize Mining Corp. (PRZ:TSX-V) jointly announce that the Yellowjacket Venture (“Yellowjacket JV”) has now completed commissioning and test work as scheduled on its mill facility at the Yellowjacket Gold Project located near Atlin, BC. A variety of material stockpiled by Prize in 2008 has now passed through the mill and represents a spectrum of hardness, mineralogy and grade in order to properly tune the facility.
