Eagle Plains Resources is a proud sponsor and participant in many community programs and initiatives in the East Kootenay Region. We beleive as a corporate citizen it is our responsibility to help support programs that prescribe to benifit our communities with healthy lifestyles, assisting those organizations who are in need and by doing this, promoting good will. Below are some of the programs we are involved in:
EKASS P.A.R.T.Y. Program |
The P.A.R.T.Y. program is a regional based initiative to Prevent Alcohol and Risk Related Trama in Youth . The program encourages youth to evaluate behavior and adopt positive choices for a happy and healthy life. This donation was a major conribution to this important program and helped to keep it operational in the face of cancellation |

Participating in the Annual "Kokanee Open" Kimberley Food Bank Charity Golf Tournament with a donation and "hole in one" sponsor |

MITACS is a federally funded national network of centers of excellence based at Simon Fraser University. This sponsorship funds a student internship to study copper-gold mineralization in the Iron Range Region of south east BC. |

This sponsorship will help in the development of the Minor Hockey League with a donation specifically for the Bantam Division |

Sponsoring the Yukon Economic Development Fund assists the Yukon government to work with the business community and with other governments to support business development, trade and investment opportunities, and partnerships for the development of the Yukon economy. |
| East Kootenay Foundation for Health |
The EK Foundation for Health provides funding for the EK Regional Hospital and other community health care facilities in meeting the service needs of the region, such as purchasing new medical equipment.. |
The Rocky
Mountain Rams |
Sponsorship of this football league has assisted in getting it refitted with new equipment and uniforms for the 14-18 year old players. It will also help the league to expand it's program to include the participation of teams comprised of younger players. |
| Freindship 2009 Team |
This donation sponsors a member of a bantam team of male and female players ages 13-14. This team plays in an international tournament where points are awarded for goodwill, sportsmanship and team-building. Jerseys are traded amongst the players as memorabilia after the tournament |

Contributing to the Cranbrook Commercial Hockey League to help promote participaction in sports and healthy lifestyles. |
